Smile & Christmas Outfit

Yes, I am sleeping still and yawning!

My first smile caught on camera! Mommy was making me laugh!

And I am back to yawning!

Hmmm...I think I like my picture being taken.

Past Few Days

I have been taking random snapshots lately of Tyler. So here they are. We are doing better on the new formula and are going 5-6 hours in between the night feedings. I am loving it. I am hoping to get him to sleep in his bed during the night soon.

2 week check up & 1 tired Mom

Well, yesterday was the 2 week well baby checkup at the doctor's office. Everything went fairly well. Tyler hasn't gotten any longer...still at 22 inches, but has gained weight...now coming in at 9 lbs. He has been having a lot of problems with gas and the doctor told us to try another formula (a soy one). That has been a disaster!

Last night he slept maybe 4 hours and has had only a few hours of sleep since then. His gas is much worse and so I called the pediatrician this morning. We are going to try another formula (Enfamil Gentlease) tonight, since that soy one made him immediately worse. So needless to say, I (Wendy) have had minimal sleep. Any suggestions are welcome at this point. Mylicon only goes so far.

But here are a few pics over the past days. Enjoy!

Tyler's First Few Days

Sorry it has taken us so long to get pictures up. We have had major internet issues at the hospital and then caught up on sleep here at the house yesterday and today. Now we are finally settling in and slowly finding a routine/shift.

Update on Tyler...he does have a mild case of jaundice, but not enough to warrant a sun lamp and home health care, which is great. We had him tested again today and that was the news. We go back next week and will have him tested one more time to see if it is clearing up. But more than likely us putting him near the window during the day will be enough sunlight.

I have created a slide show of the pics from our camera. Nini (Wendy's Mom) and others have the rest which we should be getting this week.

A Couple More Pictures

Tyler David Peacock arrived at 1:30 pm on November 20, 2008. We are thrilled with our littlest one and are completely enjoying him. He weighed 8 lbs 1 oz, 22" long and has lots of hair.

Days Away

I just thought I would take this time to let everyone know, if you don't already, that baby TD will be here by the end of the week. I will have to tell Jeremy how to post pictures but we should have a couple up on Friday sometime (or earlier if he wants to come earlier). So check back with us then.

In the mean time, I am killing time today. Tomorrow I go for a NST (Non-Stress Test) to check baby's movements and to see if I am having any contractions. On Wednesday we are admitted to the hospital and they will start some meds to get me to thin out and possibly dilate. If nothing happens, then Thursday morning they will definitely do a c-section. I am excited and thrilled and a little nervous about the whole birth thing. But at this point I am so ready to meet my son, that the pain seems insignificant.

Ever Wonder...

Have you ever wondered what a pregnant woman does when her due date comes and goes? Well luckily for me, my mom (Nina) has been in town trying to keep me preoccupied until little TD arrives. In the course of the past 2-3 days, we (her mainly) have managed to decorate the entire interior of my house for Christmas. We did not do the outside yet, because I didn't want to be that person that has their decorations up forever before the holiday. We are saving that for Thanksgiving weekend. Below are several pictures from the interior of the house. I love having my own personal decorator that only charges me to have her a grandchild.

Halloween Party

On Friday Night, we went to our small group Halloween party. Above are pictures from every couple. Below is a picture of me and my baby belly as a Pumpkin. Don't worry, baby was not harmed in the painting of the belly. We used waterbased paint that came right off with water and a little soap.

For Baby TD update, Wendy has been having contractions since Sunday afternoon. The doctor told us this morning that they are Braxton Hicks and may continue for another week. She is not resting well and the doctor has given her some medicine to rest. Also Wendy is fighting off a cold or sinus infection which isn't the best to have right now. So we are praying for little TD to come soon. In the meantime, we will keep everyone updated when the real labor begins.

Updates on us

So I have been slacking on the blog, but really nothing has been happening. I am ready and prepared to have TD any day now. Last weekend, Jeremy and I went to the fall festival at Mt. Laurel. We thoroughly enjoyed getting out of the house and enjoying the cooler weather. This walking did cause me to have a few contractions, but not enough to start labor.

This weekend we spent Friday night honoring our former Bible Study Leaders, Jim & Betty. They meant so much to us and we thought by cooking them dinner and creating a scrapbook telling them of how much they meant would be a good way to do that. Almost all of our small group was there and it was so much fun to spend time hanging out.

Saturday was a lazy day. I am ashamed to say that we slept in to 10 am. I haven't done that in a long, long time, but boy did it feel good to sleep. We were able to have dinner with an old co-worker of Jeremy's mom. Joey had come into town with his work and surprised us all. We had a good time over dinner, and truly miss him. But we are glad he is doing well in NYC.
And that leaves us up to today....I think I am nesting and making Jeremy nest too. We spent a good portion of the afternoon, cleaning the house, cooking and just getting it in order for baby TD. So that ought to keep you all updated until he arrives. Expect it any day now!

Baby Shower Given by Friends

Jeremy and I are very fortunate to have such a great group of friends. Yesterday our sweet friends gave us one of the most fun baby showers I have been to. It was so relaxing and everyone knew at least one other person there. And what amazed me the most was that we truly got a variety of things we haven't received at other showers. Below is a slide show of it all.

So now you ask, what do we do with all this stuff? Well we have been diligently working on the nursery all along and plan on having it completely ready by the end of next weekend. I am now going every week to the doctor and with the baby already beginning to drop, they don't think I will make it to Nov. 4th, but aren't changing my due date again. I however am more and more convinced he is coming on Halloween. On God knows when though! So we will definitely covet any prayers during this last month to calm nerves and for everything to go safely and smoothly.

Baby Shower at Work

Tailgating at LSU Game

Two Saturdays ago was my last one in Auburn for this season. While I was there, my cousin Katie just had to take two pictures. The first is of me and her. The second is of me and my dad of our bellies.

Big Baby Gifts

Over the past few weeks we have received a lot of packages for our little one. He is not spoiled at all. ;-) Friday, August 29th was a huge day for the UPS delivery guy. We received our bedding, a cradle swing and the travel system.

We have since put it all together and are figuring out how everything works. It only took us a couple of hours to put the swing and travel system together. Thank goodness for directions!

Yes, Jeremy put the stuffed dog in there to test it out. He had to make sure that everything snapped and strapped together just like the directions said.

Lastly, Aunt Diane bought him his first pair of tennis shoes. They are so adorable. I can't wait to put them on him.
