Church

On Sunday we went to church. Since I didn't get any pictures before we left to church, I got a few afterwards. Needless to say Tyler was a mess and here's the aftermath.

No that isn't pee on his outfit. It is buckets and buckets of drool. He had been in his car seat and was eating his outfit.

Snow!

Well it finally snowed this winter season and I am thrilled. I love a good snow once or twice a year. So we all bundled up and took some pictures outside since the roads were too bad for us to make it to church today.

After the early morning of watching the snow, this is what tyler thought about it. Notice the thumb and pointer finger sucking.

Cereal & Sunday Afternoon

Here Tyler is after church this morning. I put him down next to Jeremy and went to check on laundry. This is what I came back and found:

Happy 3 Month Birthday!

Yep! You read that right! Tyler is 3 months old today. He is becoming more of a little boy each day. A few milestones he has reached this month are...drinking 30 ounces of formula a day, eating cereal and applesauce with a spoon, holding his head up for a while (which happened in the past few days), and mastering the art of pushing his pacifier back in his mouth. Every day he becomes more and more alert. He is also growing by leaps and bounds. I will weigh him and get his length over the weekend.

Another Day in the Life of Tyler

Above you can see him from bed time to morning. There are a few shots of his belly and you can barely make out his scar from surgery. One on each side of his tummy and another in the belly button.

Tyler is Recovering

For those of you who do know, Tyler had to have surgery on Tuesday. The quick version is...the doctors found out that he had pyloris stenosis. Basically his pyloric muscle in his stomach wasn't letting food pass into his intestines. It was a one time fix it with surgery and he is doing much better. So by this weekend he should be recovered completely.

Jeremy and I appreciate everyone's prayers on Tyler's behalf. We are truly blessed and grateful to have such wonderful friends and family. I will post some more pictures this weekend.

Cold Day & 2 month checkup

Tyler went for his 2 month checkup yesterday. I can't believe my baby is 2 months old already. Time sure is flying by. He now weighs 11 lbs 7 oz and is 24 3/4" long. He is momma's big boy! We took a few pictures that morning before he went. Check out his many facial expressions.

As you know it has been freezing out lately. Well during Christmas, Tyler received a car seat blanket and he has gotten plenty of use out of it.

Please know that just as I start this post Tyler spits up again and makes me change him into his 3rd outfit of the day. As for an update, as of Monday week, Tyler weighed 11lbs 6 oz and was 24" long. He is just a growing.

Apologies

My apologies for not posting more. Right after Christmas, I got sick and it started a domino affect. We are all just now getting back healthy. And during that time we are changing internet providers at our house and we still don't have it connected. We should have it back up and going by this weekend, when I can post more pictures. Until then, you will have to still look at older pictures. Sorry! :-(

Past Few Days

I have been taking random snapshots lately of Tyler. So here they are. We are doing better on the new formula and are going 5-6 hours in between the night feedings. I am loving it. I am hoping to get him to sleep in his bed during the night soon.

2 week check up & 1 tired Mom

Well, yesterday was the 2 week well baby checkup at the doctor's office. Everything went fairly well. Tyler hasn't gotten any longer...still at 22 inches, but has gained weight...now coming in at 9 lbs. He has been having a lot of problems with gas and the doctor told us to try another formula (a soy one). That has been a disaster!

Last night he slept maybe 4 hours and has had only a few hours of sleep since then. His gas is much worse and so I called the pediatrician this morning. We are going to try another formula (Enfamil Gentlease) tonight, since that soy one made him immediately worse. So needless to say, I (Wendy) have had minimal sleep. Any suggestions are welcome at this point. Mylicon only goes so far.
